Chenega Corporation held a charity raffle throughout the night in support of the ACTS Emergency Homeless Shelter located in Dumfries, VA. The shelter provides safe haven for familes who are in need of support due to unfortunate circumstances, such as last Fall's disastrous flooding. As one of only six cyber nodes in the country, CL will be hosting Cybergamut Technical Tuesdays, which offers professionals the opportunity to meet and support the exchange of ideas and discussion on a wide range of cyber topics and technical issues.
On August 6, Chenega Logistics participated in The Bike MS: Pedal the Plains charity ride, an annual, two-day, 150 mile bike ride in support of the fight against Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Chenega Logistics Director of Commercial Solutions, Dan Hindbjorgen, has been an avid rider for this event for the past 24 years. This year, Desktop Support Technician, Jeremy Ackman, joined Hindbjorgen on the weekend-long effort and together they raised a total of $2,700 in support of awareness for MS.
More than 100 local business owners attended the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the new Chenega Logistics headquarters in Sioux Falls, SD. It was at this event that Mike Montgomery, President of Chenega Logistics, presented a substantial donation to a local organization, Feeding South Dakota.

Chenega Logistics held its first cleanup on July 7th. CL is honored to be a part of this program and looks forward to helping to keep the state of South Dakota clean.
Sioux Falls-based technology company Chenega Logistics will be hosting a Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting ceremony on June 13, 2011. Festivities will commence at 11:30 a.m., with an open house to follow at the new downtown office, located at 114 South Main Avenue, Suite 201, Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Heuther and local business leaders are expected to be in attendance.
On May 19, 2011, Chenega Logistics participated in the 5th Annual Chenega Invitational at Old Hickory Golf Club in Woodbridge, Va., benefitting the Azalea Charities’ Aid for Wounded Warriors project as a Silver Sponsor. With more than 143 participants and 36 teams, the event proved to be a great success, raising more than $46,000 through registration fees, raffle ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, a putting contest and a competitive silent auction.
