Summary:
Serve as traditional Security Manager with emphasis on Information Assurance supporting a training support contract for the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform as information assurance security manager.
- Initiate projects on security planning, certification, and accreditation per DOD standards.
- Assist government IA manager in ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
- Spearhead projects on technology protection planning, development of security classification guides, IA training coordination, information disclosure, and Communications Security (COMSEC).
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Supervision:
This position does not have any formal supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 4 to 6 years of experience in a related area or equivalent military experience. Requires 4 to 6 years of experience in the computer systems field.
Computer Skills:
Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Security+ required; A+, Network +, Operating System a plus
Clearance: Secret, or secret eligible
