Summary:
Chenega Logistics is currently seeking experienced .NET developers to work in our Irving, TX office. The developers will be responsible for the maintenance and minor enhancement of existing multi-tier web based applications in support of daily business operations. This contract offers flexible work hours and telecommuting options however all candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write software code that will be implemented in a production environment to resolve system issues that arise during normal business use or to expand system functionality via minor enhancements.
  • Write code in Classic ASP, ASP.NET, VB.net, C#, and T-SQL
  • Tier 1 Issue support including defining problems being experienced by users and communication to appropriate parties of the situation. Off hours support will be required.
  • Test software code to ensure its suitability for implementation in a production environment.
  • Mentoring of other developers in both technical and business processes. This may include code reviews and general architecture control.

Other duties as assigned to meet business/operational needs.

Supervision:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. To be successful in this position at least 3 years coursework or work experience or a combination of both in the following is necessary: 
 
  • Classic ASP (ASP 3.0)
  • ASP.NET (2002, 2003, 2005)
  • VB.NET
  • C#
  • XML
  • XSL
  • T-SQL – Stored procedures and one-time queries
  • Rich client-side web development: AJAX, Javascript, CSS
